York Foot Clinic is a podiatry & chiropody clinic run by foot & lower limb specialist Keira Moore BSc Hons and Associates. We have all completed Honour Degrees in Podiatry (Chiropody) & are members of The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists Council. We are HCPC registered & are recognised by most private medical insurers.

To all our wonderful patients...an article was printed this week in the Press, highlighting my plans to convert the clinic to a HMO. This stems from all the issues we have had to endure in our street and sadly the lack of support I have been shown in trying to resolve them.

I want to assure you all that no definite plans have been made and as soon as any decisions have been decided then you will be the first to know.

As it stands, it is business, or should I say feet as usual and myself and the amazing team at York Foot Clinic look forward to treating you ❤️👣❤️

After the announcement this evening that England is once again in lockdown, we would like to confirm that as we are a fully registered HCPC podiatry/ chiropody clinic, we are classified as a medical clinic and as such are exempt from closing. Therefore will be remaining open to provide essential treatments.

We do however appreciate that some of you may wish to rearrange your appointment. This is absolutely fine and please just call the clinic to do so.

Those of you that have have been into clinic will be aware of the strict infection control we operate and will continue to do so to protect both you and staff members.

Good evening everyone ...

Podiatry services are a medical appointment and therefore exempt from closure during local lockdowns (all tiers).

Please rest assured that we are operating as normal, following all the covid safe regulations to ensure your appointments go ahead safely. All of our staff have the correct ppe and we have covid screens for protection. We apologise that the clinic may be a little colder than usual as we have doors/ windows open to aid filtration.

Even shielding patients are able to safely access our services. Please make sure our reception staff are aware of your shielding status so we can ensure we meet your needs correctly.

Please make sure you follow the covid guidance when you attend - use the hand gel provided and ensure you follow the one metre plus rules.

We look forward to seeing you at your appointment.

We are delighted to announce that we will reopen our doors next week for selective, approved treatments.

We have been given a very strict list of which patients/ conditions we are able to treat and as such will be triaging all our patients prior to booking an appointment.

We will be contacting our patients from tomorrow, however if you feel you need treatment urgently please contact the clinic on 01904 438444 or email us at yorkfootclinic@gmail.com so we can assess you.

We will call all patients who's treatment has been postponed, so please bare with us as we do so.

Good morning everyone in these strange times....

We know a lot of you are in need of our services and are struggling with your feet and we would love to treat you BUT ....Podiatrists/Chiropodists are registered allied health care professionals and are only permitted to treat Emergencies during the coronavirus outbreak (as per our Governing body and insurers)

Emergency patients are those who currently have or who are at high risk of having, INFECTION, ULCERATION, PAIN or INGROWING TOE NAILS.

It is very important to restrict the spread of Coronavirus, and therefore, sadly, no routine appointments are currently available.

If you are offered a routine appointment from another person/ business for long nails or hard skin removal you are at risk of being unnecessarily exposed to coronavirus.
Any person offering routine appointments during this time may not be insured to treat you.

Please do not hesitate to contact us via our email or Facebook site for advice or concerns.
