Continuing our theme of positive change in 2025 we have some big news.
I’m really delighted to announce that Best Foot Forward has been bought by the lovely guys at The Foot Company and from today they will start rebranding the business.
I am staying on to see my regular lovely patients for the foreseeable future.
All our staff are staying too and are excited about the changes ( I think! 🙏🏼🙂).
The good news is that as the business develops further we can take on new patients again and grow!

Good luck Andy and Ben. I’m really excited to see what you do with the place!

Thanks to all of you for all your support over the past 36(!) years and here’s to the future.

My regular patients who know me so well will not be surprised that of course I’m away on holiday for this momentous day…

So the last year has seen a lot of positive change at Best Foot Forward and we are as busy as ever.
We are not taking new patients on at the moment as we are at capacity but please give us a ring if you want to be placed on the waiting list for when we open up again to new patients.
We have a new reception team, Hannah and Pat (who has returned so not really new!).
Lesley, Julie and Kath are beavering away in their Podiatry roles with Jess covering for Kath when she goes away on her travels.
We prioritise life work balance here so Lesley and Kath are serious travellers and fit their love of their work around that!

Yesterday we had our January meal as a team at the wonderful Skosh Restaurant Micklegate and it was outstanding. Every bite was amazing.
Here’s to a busy but well managed 2025!

We are looking for a clinical cleaner - needs to be able to pull everything out and do a deep
surgery clean once a week.
Hours Saturday or Sunday or an evening when the surgery is closed.
Probably 2-3 hours a week. Would suit someone local to Wigginton Haxby area.

Team BFF had their belated Christmas do ( where does the time go??) this afternoon - a champagne afternoon tea at Middlethorpe Hall & Spa - wonderful as always.
It was also a sad occasion as it was also a farewell to our amazing practice manager Debbie who is moving on to the next stage in her life. We will miss her so much.
A new team member, Hannah, is joining us soon and we are looking forward to welcoming her to the practice.
