My daughter has her first school football match today. I've seen from a distance how this group of 9 year olds have gone from chasing the ball to being much more thoughtful and structured in their play. Their interaction with each other is fabulous to see. They're having fun, keeping healthy and making great friendships along the way.
I'm not sure which sport will be her favourite yet but I know that getting kids into any sport or activity whatever it may be can in still good health and exercise habits for life.
