๐ง Stay Strong This Winter: Physio Tips for Preventing Injuries โ๏ธ
As temperatures drop, we often see more aches, strains and โmystery twingesโ walk through the clinic doors. Here are a few quick tips from our physio team to help keep you moving comfortably all winter long ๐
๐ฅ 1. Warm up indoors first
Do a few minutes of light mobility or marching on the spot before heading out โ cold muscles are more prone to injury.

We tend to hunch up in the cold! Try to relax your shoulders, keep your core engaged and let your arms swing naturally when walking.

Long evenings can make us sit more โ gentle stretching, Pilates, or short walks help prevent stiffness and keep circulation flowing.
๐ง 4. Listen to your body
If you start to feel a dull ache or tightness, donโt push through it. Rest, stretch, and seek advice early before it turns into a bigger problem.
