After another fantastic week of training in some of our favourite schools Quantum First Aid responders were out in force with 3 great events to cover.
First to Bridlington and the Armed Forces Veterans Day with a great display to end the occasion from a troop of Gurkhas. In Easingwold covering the fantastic music festival Rocking All Over The Wold a great day in the sun with circa 3/4000 people having a beer or two and great bands as usual. Last but not least a regular equestrian event for us near the White Horse with many riders battling the heat as well as the course.

Pleasure to be there, great bunch of kids.

Today Team Neptune completed a "Mini Medics" First Aid course, run by Quantum First Aid Training.

This afternoon we received this lovely feedback about it:
"[xx] absolutely loved the first aid course today. She's taught me everything and practiced on her giant sloth to show me CPR. Great idea! She's come home and insisted we bulk out our first aid kit too! xx"

This is just one example of things we're proud to be able to fund, through the hard work and dedication of our volunteers' fundraising efforts. Thanks to our amazing team and the families who support us!

Hemplands Primary School, York
A massive thank you to Hayley for organising the mini medics event at Hemplands School.
60 children from year 2 took part and all had a great time as well as learning some basic first aid skills but most of all understanding awareness and how to get help.
I look forward to seeing some of them in the future.
