Hello everyone , thankyou so much for your support and loyalty . Victoria Griffin who was our FB monitor is now on maternity leave and otherwise occupied , to say the least !
Highthorn continues to be really busy and I apologise if we can not see you quite as promptly as we used to be able to do . The requirements and guidelines imposed upon us
( for all the right reasons ) mean that we loose working time to cleaning time every day , so fewer appointments are available. Please continue to call us , as you have always done , and , if at all possible be flexible in your availability. If you are “struggling”, request a call back from one of the clinical team and we shall try to do so ASAP.

The COVID‐19 measures, including keeping one's distance, washing one's hands and providing and using protective equipment, are less important for homeworkers at work. On the other hand, a good workplace is even more important for home workers: a good desk, a good office chair and good equipment. This certainly does not appear to be well facilitated in all cases. It is also important to decide whether to work at home permanently for the time being or whether there are prospects of returning to the office. We are traditional physiotherapists and spend plenty of time exploring the cause of your pain and eliminating that cause while easing your symptoms and educating you as to how you can help yourself. We are still hands on clinicians , but continue to expand our skill mix to optimise the outcome of our patients’ treatment .
