Active Care Chiropractic treats patients suffering from a wide range of complaints – not just back problems.

Active Care Chiropractic is owned and managed by Principal Chiropractor, Dr Philip Baines. He established the practice in 2008 and has been providing active care to patients from across the country from his York-based clinic. Dr Baines has lived and practiced all over the UK and is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. He went on to study a further two years to obtain his doctorate in

chiropractic. Since then Dr Baines has continued his professional development in chiropractic and other mucso-skeletal treatments. With a special interest in treating sportspeople Dr Baines was one of the Chiropractors at the Olympic Village treating athletes at the 2012 Olympics.

Thanks to Brenda's brilliant idea to help patients who needed a tennis ball to perform their exercises we have already collected over £60 for The Hygiene Bank York which Vicky has used to buy deodorant and toothbrushes 🪥.

Thank you to everyone who has made a donation 💛, to all the dogs 🐕 that keep sending their owners back to get more balls 😉 AND to the very special patient who actually brought in more tennis balls to add to the basket 🙏.

Such an exciting evening last night watching our very own York Knights play in their 1st ever Super League game at the LNER stadium in York....
...incase you haven't heard they won by 1 point against last years Super League winners - sooooo exciting 🥳🥳🏉🏉 👏👏👏👏.

Their next home game is Friday 6th March - maybe see some of you there??

People have been asking about how Ernie has been getting on.....

Here at ACC we're firm believers in getting the correct care from the right specialist and as none of us are trained to treat our 4 legged friends, we have turned to the help of Levina Darcey Veterinary Physiotherapy to help with his muscular skeletal problems.

He's doing really well with his physiotherapy and hopefully he will be able to come back to work soon ❤️🐾❤️.
