Active Care Chiropractic treats patients suffering from a wide range of complaints – not just back problems.

Active Care Chiropractic is owned and managed by Principal Chiropractor, Dr Philip Baines. He established the practice in 2008 and has been providing active care to patients from across the country from his York-based clinic. Dr Baines has lived and practiced all over the UK and is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. He went on to study a further two years to obtain his doctorate in chiropractic. Since then Dr Baines has continued his professional development in chiropractic and other mucso-skeletal treatments. With a special interest in treating sportspeople Dr Baines was one of the Chiropractors at the Olympic Village treating athletes at the 2012 Olympics.

Apologies to anyone who has been affected by the noise in the clinic this week - the air-conditioning installation is nearly finished and should be up and running next week to both heat and cool the building 🔥❄️.

Another trophy in the clinic 🌟 🏆 🌟.

It was fantastic to see Carol's prize from the Outlaw Half Ironman triathlon - 1.2 miles swim, 56 miles bike, 13.1 miles run - WOW .........that's a long way!!

Can you believe it's a month today since the amazing York Knights won the 1895 Cup at Wembley.

What an absolute privilege to have the Cup and the individual medals in the clinic.

We're so lucky here in York to have the strongest team in the championship who keep going from strength to strength and proving over and again what a force they've become.

We doubt there's ever been a team of nicer, more genuine guys who deserve every bit of success they're having.
