Vikki (Head of HR & Projects), Lee (Head of Learning & Development) and Catherine (Senior ER Lead) are at the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP) event.

They’re exploring five key themes that are critical to strengthening our sector: Technical Skills, Educational & Teaching Professionals, Employability Skills and Behaviours, Careers Guidance, and Accessibility in supporting people into our workforce.

The HEY LSIP is a three-year employer-led plan designed to ensure our local workforce has the right skills and attributes for the future. It sets out clear priorities to align post-16 technical education, training and careers guidance with real employer and labour-market needs.

The LSIP brings together employers, education providers and public-sector partners in a collaborative effort to drive meaningful change and support the skills our local economy depends on 💚
