Celebrating National Dental Nurses Day with a few photos of these wonderful folk ❤️ The nursing and reception team are the heart and soul of dental practices. As dentists, we simply couldn’t function safely or provide the highest quality care without them and their skills. More importantly, they are our beautiful friends who see all, the patient’s friends and usually our kid’s favourite people! Thank you always - from my VT nurses, to the nurses who saw us though babies, to my Rotherham hospital nurses to the unlucky tribe who get to fuel me with coffee and the best playlists today!🙌🥂

📣 You can keep natural expression and still have smoother skin! 📣

I love - pure talent and this video gives a nod to one of my life loves….coffee ☕️

Watching this video highlights how much we rely on facial expression to give us essential non-verbal communication. How much is it the impersonation and how much is the amazing facial muscle control?

Obviously, not everyone is a internationally-known mouth actor… but I fully hear my patient when they say:

➡️ “I don’t want frozen”
➡️ “I just want to look a bit less tired/cross/grumpy”
➡️ “I’d like to look a bit fresher”

I can do frozen…but don’t very often and only when a patient specifically requests it.

My patients come back every time and bring their friends/mums/staters/brothers because their plan is always bespoke and is based on their treatment goals.

Treatments should look natural, sit in harmony with your face and always be performed by a medical or dental professional with the training and materials to keep procedures safe and acheive reliable results.

The effected skin and tissues is destroyed in a very controlled way by rapidly freezing the cells, forming tiny ice hards when destroy the required cells. This means there will be no collateral damage to nearby healthy tissue.

Purely cosmetic procedures such as skin tags, milia and cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many providers on the NHS (case/patient dependant).

The applicator is held as close as possible to the skin imperfection and moved quickly aware from it. Treatment lasts from 5 - 30 seconds.
