Targeted Sports & Deep Tissue Massage
Today’s session focused on the lumbar region (lower back) — a common area of strain for high-performance athletes, especially in impact sports like rugby.

Working with a professional rugby player from the York Knights, the goal was to stimulate blood flow, reduce muscular tension, and support recovery in one of the most load-bearing parts of the body.

Encouraging circulation in this area not only speeds up healing but also enhances mobility, reduces stiffness, and improves overall performance on the field.

Important News: Price Increase from 30th April 📈
We hope you’re well.

We want to let you know that from the 30th April, there will be a small increase to some of our service prices. This decision wasn’t taken lightly, and we’ve held off as long as we could — the original change was planned for February.
Like many small businesses, we’re feeling the effects of rising costs, especially due to changes in the Consumer Price Index. Adjusting our prices helps us continue to offer the level of care, time, and quality you’ve come to expect from us — without cutting corners.

That said, we want to reassure you that Karys’ prices will stay the same, and the change only applies to senior therapist services. Here’s a quick look at the updated rates:

Massage Therapy with Karys:
30 minutes – £35.00
45 minutes – £45.00
60 minutes – £60.00

Massage Therapy with Jan:
30 minutes – £39.00
45 minutes – £51.00
60 minutes – £65.00
90 minutes – £89.00
120 minutes – £125.00

If you’d like to take advantage of Jan’s current rates before the change, feel free to book future sessions before the 30th April — we’d love to see you!

Now Open Earlier. And Later. Mondays Just Got Better
We know how hard it can be to squeeze in self-care around a packed schedule, so starting 5th May, we’re extending our hours on Mondays — our busiest day — to make things easier. Jan will be available from 7am–1pm for those who want to start their week strong, and Karys will be bookable from 1pm–8pm for post-work recovery. Whether you need to iron out the tension before the day begins or reset after a long one, we’ve got you covered.
