At this time of year, if youre going to the , it may be more likely that you're doing it because you've been very calorie conscious over the last week or so. Fair play! Tis the season (fa la la la laaaaa....). Maybe you've been to a group fitness class and been sweating out the vino 🍷.

But.... equally.... maybe you haven't been going because of increased calorie consumption. Maybe you struggle with the festive period - as many people do, and you need a workout in order to feel like your routine is back to normal. Maybe you're struggling with mental health and exercise helps you to manage it. Perhaps you have a medical issue and exercise is helping you to strengthen and deal with your problems.

Don't let calories rule your workout..... especially if they were never a relevance to you in the first place. If you're about to join a gym and your chosen facility is all about calories... but you're all about mental wellness... maybe consider going to a gym that understands that every single person in the facility is different.

We haven't got to January yet, but no time like the present to plan ahead! At the fabulous MK1Gym in Selby, every week, I deliver themed spin classes on Wednesday at 6pm and Saturday at 9.15am.

Book on. Grab a bike. Sing and sweat. Leave on a high. Thats it. Simple!

If you've never been to spin before, January is a great time to try. Not a member of MK1? No problem - they do PAYG passes!

I know you guys who followed me through covid, through all of the 'disco garage' classes.... you got to know Alba. My beautiful girl passed away in September 2024, and she is - and always be missed so very dearly. However. There are dogs out there who need love. Who need a second chance.

Based on the above, im so beyond delighted to introduce you to Red ❤️ and Blue 💙 (or 'Red Devil' and 'The Snuggle Monster'!). They've been part of our lives for a few weeks now, and I'd already be lost without them!

They are so loving. So playful. And already, so very loved. Im planning on bringing some element of online service back in due course, so watch this space... but one things for sure.... you'll be seeing more of these 2 beautiful souls!
