According to recent data from Ofcom the average adult sits for 47mins a DAY longer than we did in 2019. With dark winter nights, and a plethora of releases from Netflix and the such, the temptation to spend time sat is all the more enticing at this time of year.
But with that comes the inevitable Christmas lower back pain, or the slumped tight shoulders and aching neck muscles.
So, simplest tip to help: REMEMBER 20/20.
Every 20mins, get up and take 20 paces away from your seat. This break in the sitting cycle does wonders for the body, and is even suggested to help keep your DNA from ageing prematurely!

Had a fabulous day at Therapy Expo at the NEC in Birmingham on Wednesday. Amazing speakers and product stands to make sure that Ki and I are up-to-date on the latest research, news, and products that are out there.

Thank you to York Hospital Breast Imaging Unit who invited me to provide 3 workshops to their radiographers and administrative staff yesterday, with the hopes of improving working conditions for everyone in the department. It was a fantastic day, and I was honoured to have been able to do my part to help the working conditions of so many valuable members of staff.

The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) has released updated information on working from home with Display Screen Equipment (DSE) - looking at both Temporary Home Working, and Long-term Home Working.
