Help shape the future of chronic and recurrent UTI research!
Do you or someone you care for live with a chronic or recurrent UTI? Now’s your chance to make a difference by taking a quick survey.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are infections that affect the bladder or urinary system. They can cause intense pain and disrupt daily life.
Together with Bladder Health UK and The Urology Foundation and using JLA methods, we’re identifying the top 10 research priorities for chronic and recurrent UTI in the UK. Your input is vital to help identify what people who live with a chronic or recurrent UTI think are the most important research areas.

These priorities will shape the UK’s research agenda, helping funders and scientists focus on the areas that matter the most to the UTI community.

Your voice matters—whether you’re living with a chronic and recurrent UTI or supporting someone who is.

Chronic and recurrent UTI affects 20 to 30% of women, yet so much about this condition remains unknown. Your input will help identify what patients and professionals agree are the most important research areas.
Take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/UTI_PSP
Drop a comment below once you’ve completed it.
📣 Please share this with others who might want to have their say and use the hashtag to spread the word!

We want to say special thanks to Patch, his mum Eleanor, and his grandma, Trottie, who all recently walked 80 miles over five days in memory of Patch’s wonderful grandad, Tony Kirwan, who was known as Pod. Eleanor said: “We walked from Trinity Cambridge, dad's college, where my parents got together when they were teenagers, to Carrow Road, home of the mighty Norwich City FC, over 5 days. Patch came up with the idea and planned the route with me and my mum, his grandma - and then we all walked together in the first week of the Easter hols. Dad loved long walks and map work, so it was especially appropriate.”

Antibiotic Research UK are so honoured that the family chose to raise money for our work in memory of their special dad, grandad and husband. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family, they have raised an incredible £2,655, which will help us to support more patients and families affected by antibiotic resistance now and in the future.
