Q: How many sessions will I need?

For short term therapy I recommend 6-12 sessions. I also offer longer term therapy from 3 months to a few years, depending on your goals and the complexity of your concerns.

Q: Is it confidential?

Confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. Anything you choose to share during sessions remains private and is not disclosed without your consent, except in situations where there is a legal or ethical duty to protect you or others.

Q: What happens in a session?

We explore your experiences, emotions and goals in a supportive, non-judgemental way. My approach is integrative which means it is tailored specifically to your unique and individual needs.

Endometriosis vs Adenomyosis

Two conditions that sound similar but impact the body in very different ways..

Endometriosis = tissue grows outside the uterus
Adenomyosis = tissue grows into the muscle wall of the uterus

Both are:
⚡ Incredibly painful
⚡ Debilitating
⚡ Underdiagnosed
⚡ Life altering
The list goes on and on..

Adenomyosis and endometriosis are two different forms of the same disease. They are both detectable using the EndoSure Test.

In the absence of using a tier 1 level diagnostic test like the EndoSure Test, Adenomyosis is typically diagnosed based upon transvaginal ultrasound findings. MRI can also make the diagnosis but is somewhat less accurate.

It is rare to find Adenomyosis occurring by itself, without the presence of endometriosis. Approximately 4% of the time can you find Adenomyosis by itself only.

If someone has already been diagnosed with Endometriosis or Adenomyosis by another means, performing an Endosure test for diagnostic purposes only does not offer any advantage. However, the advantage in performing the test is its ability to potentially determine whether treatment for the disease was successful. This would be done by performing the Endosure test before treatment, and then subsequently after treatment to judge effectiveness.
