Laurens Ladies is a free weekly group that provides a space for students who may be affected by su***de. This group welcomes all women, including trans women, and non-binary students who feel comfortable in a women centered environment.

By becoming one of our Laurens Ladies Peer Supporters, you will help to provide a comfortable, non-judgemental space where students can talk openly.

✔️ Experience in supporting people with mental health challenges
✔️ Engage with a debrief after each session

📒 Domestic Abuse & Mental Health Training - Wondering What to Expect?

Domestic abuse has a profound impact on mental health. Experiences of abuse can lead to depression, anxiety, complex trauma, loss of self-confidence, difficulty trusting others, and even suicidal thoughts. These challenges can severely limit a person’s ability to seek support.

Our Domestic Abuse and Mental Health training will help you understand the psychological theories behind abuse and why it leads to such significant mental health challenges. You’ll also explore practical ways to support recovery and empower individuals affected.
