Nurture Natal York based hypnobirthing and antenatal courses To ensure we remain flexible, our courses go ahead even if we only have one woman/couple who book.

We are a York based company run by two qualified members of the Hypnobirthing Association, one of which is a qualified midwife and the other a breastfeeding counsellor. We offer antenatal classes which run over four Wednesdays every month and hypnobirthing courses which run over two Sundays each month; we will also be offering a health in pregnancy class for early pregnancy. We can also provide be

spoke private courses which can be run at our centre or in the comfort of your own home if you wish – ask for more details. We believe that birth is a normal experience driven by thousands of years of evolution. Fundamental to the success of this process is the release of essential hormones including our best friend, oxytocin. Providing information on how to encourage the production of these hormones that contribute to a normal birth experience underpins our philosophy and course delivery. Equally, we recognise that occasionally even in nature things can go wrong so our antenatal classes also seek to help you better understand the reality of 21st century birth; this better prepares you to accept medical support when needed.

Learn how your body works during labour and techniques to help your birth experience to be calmer and more enjoyable.

Course runs on 2, 9, 16 March 2022 from 6pm to 8pm each session (times may adjust slightly).

Just £45 per couple.

To support aspiring and current student midwives though accessible, low cost sessions, wherever on the journey to midwifery they may be.

Absolutely loved our first session last night with the nurture natal aspiring midwives 2021 cohort. Fantastic group of aspiring midiwves ecah with so much to offer in their fiture careers.

Final aspiring midwives 2020 Course - Midwifery Topics Workshop, 28th November 3pm to 4.45pm approx. £10 each. We will cover current hot topics in maternity. Great to get your interview heads thinking. This a fully interactive discussion based workshop over zoom.

Also £15 special offer on interview one to one sessions. 15 mins approx practice question answering with 15 mins individual feedback. This will be going up to £20 from mid Decemeber, so get booked in early :)

We are so proud of all our NN families over the years who have shared int heir pregnancy journey by hypnobirthing with us. Out most recent course of four women and their partners has left us feeling inspired. Fierce and brave women who have experienced the birth they hoped for leaving gem riding an oxytocin high and not parenting... Just as nature intended. And the most amazing partners who "guarded their caves" with beauty and love. I'm just bursting with pride for you all x

Certificates will be issues to attendees for your portfolio.

We would love you to book additional sessions on the midwifery degree preparation course which are mix and match sessions but you do not have to. You can book the free sessions alone.

Do not forget our big day is on 5th September - So you want to be a midwife? Which covers everything you need to prepare for applying and interview. This is only £25 for the day.

Online hypnobirthing short course 19th August from 7pm until 9.15pm.

Bargain £20 per couple (limited time offer).

This course will teach key physiology behind hypnobirthing and give you the tools to embark on your own hypnobirthing journey at a fraction of the cost of the full course.

I am running this course as part of my journey towards qualified teacher status, hence the special offer. Similar sessions would ordinarily cost £45+.
