📢 Important Update – Scarecrow Trail 🌾🎃

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to move our Scarecrow Trail to Saturday 27th September.

If you would like to make a scarecrow, please deliver it to Ebor Court for the attention of Denise, our Lifestyle Manager.

Our residents and staff are busy creating lots of exciting displays, and we can’t wait to share them with you! 💛

🎶 It’s been a very musical day here at Ebor Court! 🎶

Our fantastic resident Gordon treated everyone in the Walmgate Lounge to a mini concert. 🎹✨ He knows over 40 songs by heart and plays completely without a song sheet – truly amazing! 👏💫

This afternoon, the wonderful Dave Valentine had our residents singing, clapping, and smiling along. 🎤💃🕺

Music really does bring so much joy to our home. 💖

Our Lifestyle Manager Denise and our superstar Maintenance man Ray popped over to Poppleton Community Centre to drop off Ebor Court’s entry for their Scarecrow Trail this weekend! 🎃🧹🪵
The trail runs 13–14 September — come along, spot our scarecrow, and give us a wave (or a vote!) 🙌✨

And a very special shoutout to the lovely Jenny, who received these beautiful flowers today 🌸💐 It’s her last day at Ebor Court before she transfers back to Handley House. We’ve loved every minute with you here, Jenny — thank you for your smiles, kindness, and sparkle. You’ll always be part of the Ebor family! 💖

🌞 This morning we kicked things off with Kate from G Fitness and left the session feeling super energised 💪✨

🎶 This afternoon we dusted off our record player for a Silent Disco 🎧🕺💃 — there’s nothing like the Classics to get everyone boogying!

🌾 On top of that, we’ve been busy making our scarecrows 👒🧑‍🌾 — and we can’t wait to show them to you!

🎉 Don’t forget to keep an eye out for them this weekend at the Poppleton Scarecrow Festival at the Poppleton Community Centre 🥳
