This week marks 13 years since I qualified as a pharmacist – and I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed.

My journey began with 4 years at university, followed by a year as a pre-registration pharmacist before finally achieving my qualification. I still vividly remember my very first day on the respiratory ward – the uncertainty, the pressure, and the steep learning curve. That very first weekend, I was on call, responsible for emergency medicine supply, paediatric dose calculations, and arranging palliative care medication at 12:30 am.

Fast forward 13 years, and my career has taken me on an incredible journey. I am now an aesthetic pharmacist prescriber, truly enjoying every moment – from caring for my patients to mentoring and teaching the next generation of professionals.

Here’s to the future and everything it holds.
