So if you are wanting an antidote to a chaotic world these classes may be the answer. Over 20 years ago I had no idea that I would become a Yoga teacher. So here I am with over ten years of teaching and still loving every move. Meditation was my first love and it lead me to a weekend retreat at Dru Yoga centre, Wales over 20 years ago. It was there that I discovered the grace and flow of Dru. I became intrigued by the synchronicities between the physical body and the subtle mind enabling us to strengthen our relationship with self. Which gives us valuable insights into living our best life. And still to this day I learn more about myself through the system of yoga then anything else. If you are intrigued too, let me introduce you to yourself with the help of Dru Yoga.

We often talk about yoga making us feel calm, peaceful, at ease in both body and mind. BUT ....... there are times when we need to feel those places of discomfort, unease in order to let go of the exhaustion. tension or even illness. And I know these places where we often ignore feel too much to bear. We distract by analysing, telling our stories and becoming hostage to the fear of the unknown.

Yoga gives us the grace and self compassion to appreciate the whole of us even the pain - recognising that the pain is part of us and not separate. And with deep respect we honour our amazing body/mind and love it all, even the 'feisty' bits. Jx

Your body and breath are always in the present moment. The mind can be anywhere. It is hard to wrestle the mind into the present, it's slippery, influenced by the unconscious. Always start with the body and then the breath - just move, just breathe. And then the mind will settle. Move a muscle, to move a mood. Jx
