Female Waking Night Support Worker - IMMEDIATE START

Pay: £14.00 per hour

- YO19, York
Salary:
- £14 Per Hour
Hours:
- Waking Night Shifts (Around 8:00pm – 8:00am)
- Full-time / Part-time / Bank available

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and providing high-quality care and support during night hours.

Immediate interviews are available for candidates who can start on Friday 27th February.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of individuals throughout the night, providing person-centred support in line with care plans and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing active support and supervision throughout the night
- Ensuring the safety and security of the service and individuals supported
- Supporting with personal care where required
- Conducting regular welfare checks and completing night logs
- Administering medication in line with policy (if trained)
- Responding calmly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Maintaining accurate records and handovers for day staff
- Supporting individuals with emotional reassurance and wellbeing

About You
- Caring, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night - hours
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in care/support work desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undertake training and development
- Enhanced DBS
- Right to work in the UK

Please note: We do not offer UK visa sponsorship at this current stage. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
This role is also only opened to female only applicants due to the client requirements.
