Before I went away- I found out that I’ve been nominated for not one- but two awards with Womanifest 🙏

I have amazing people who visit me in the office- so whoever nominated me- I’m so so grateful and I’m humbled.

Spinology First is a collaboration of the first Male and Female to qualify and work as spinologists in the uk.
We have two busy offices, one in and the other in and anyone who has visited will know that we are inclusive of everyone (including lots of plants!)

Spinology isn’t just a profession to me- I’ve found another family- and the fact that this year I’ve helped inspire and teach three more women is incredible- adding that I’ve done this with a disability (narcolepsy) and after major back surgery 🤯 sometimes I have to pinch myself (and not just to check my permanently numb foot 😂🙈)

There is something I also need to address-

While I’m encouraging women- when I was studying- there is a few men whom without them I would never be where I am (praise when it’s due lads🤣) Mark Llewellyn- my partner Mark Kwiecinski- my dad Enrique Borredá López - the main man of spinology, Spinologist Ján my mentor and now colleague, Spinologist Lewis Spine Temple and George Iulian Comarzan all of whom helped me up the stairs, carrying my things when I couldn’t and being the best class mates I could ask for.

I got this beautiful piece by The Magickal Hud Shop at Our Sacred Spirit in the Aberdare Market Quarter earlier, featuring

Tracey Bowditch and Bowditch Sound & Soul are now in the market, not their usual shop at the moment so pop by and say hi ❤️ it’s where Spinology First in ystrad and aberdare buy a lot of our inscence, palo santo etc.

Shopping independent and local where possible keeps our towns alive.
