What is Cervical Cancer?
A growth of cells originating on the Cervix.

What is the Cervix?
The lower part of the uterus that connects to the va**na.

What causes cervical cancer?
Various strains of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) play a role in causing cervical cancer.
There are also some risk factors that can also lead to cervical cancer these are: smoking to***co, multiple s*xual partners, early s*xual activity, other s*xually transmitted infections, and a weakened immune system.

What are some symptoms of cervical cancer?
●At onset there may not be any symptoms, however, as growth develops you can experience bleeding after s*xual in*******se, bleeding in between periods or after menopause.
●Heavier and longer than usual menstrual bleeding.
●Watery, bloody va**nal discharge with a foul odour.
Pelvic pain or pain during s*xual in*******se.

How to reduce your risk of cervical cancer?
1. Ask your doctor about the HPV Vaccine
2. Schedule routine PAP Smear test (recommended either from 21 years or once s*xually active)
3. Practice safe s*x
4. Do not smoke
