Housekeeping Attendant needed

Join our team at Spice Residential Care Facility and become an integral part of our commitment to maintaining clean and welcoming environments.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to ensure our facility is kept pristine for our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the facility.

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other designated spaces.

Change linens and make beds following established procedures.

Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.

Handle laundry duties, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linen.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a housekeeping attendant or similar role preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Ability to work efficiently and independently with attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Today : Hungry?

TODAY’S VERSE
“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry.’” John 6:35 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever been really hungry? Have you ever had a craving for a certain kind of food? Hunger is a tremendous human drive. Jesus said that He was the “bread of life” and if we believe in Him, we won’t be hunger again. But He wasn’t talking about alleviating our physical hunger. Instead, Jesus is talking about another kind of hunger; a hunger just as real. It is a spiritual hunger, a hunger of the soul. Just like a physical hunger, you can have many soulful cravings. These craving come from the needs of our heart. You may have a taste for love to fill your heart. Many people have a hunger for inner peace, joy and happiness. There are also hungers that are born out of unfulfilled needs like a hunger for recognition, love and intimacy. Of course there are more base unspiritual appetites too, like lust, greed and materialism. Jesus knows our real hungers. He knows what will really satisfy our deepest needs. So today, hear the words of Jesus, “I am the bread of life. He
who comes to me will never go hungry.” Come to Jesus. Feed on His teachings and the personal relationship that He offers to you. He is the only one that can truly satisfy your hunger.

Father, thank You for giving me a spiritual appetite. I really need You to feed my soul. I need Your bread of life to feed and nourish the deepest parts of me. Thank You that You promised if I come to You, I will never be spiritually hungry. I come to You now, dear Jesus. Feed me I pray.

This month is a very special month for me, it's my birth month and the second birthday of my baby Spice Care.
.

This past week we celebrated two years since we admitted our first two residents. One month before our first anniversary we lost one of them.

God has been good to Spice Care and has allowed us to accommodate 28 persons to date.

For most of them it has become their home, other’s stopped by just for a short stay to prepare them for the other side, and the rest a regular vacation to give their love ones a chance to breathe and get some self care.

What a journey it has been to care, to love and support the ones who would have struggled and worked hard to ensure that the way was paved for us. We thank God for them and pledge to continue to keep them feeling loved and cared for.

I'm grateful for the many persons on our team directly and indirectly, who made this possible. Your sacrifice is not in vain, God is always taking notes and he will reward you if you do not faint.

God’s word reminds us that we should honor our Father and Mother that our days may be long, I believe that every person who walks through our doors have become our parents and should be treated as such.

Cheers to many more great Milestones for the Spice Care Team with God as our LEADER.
