Burns, scars, and hyperpigmentation! Still think that this is a consequence of electrolysis? No it’s just poor-quality work!
On what you really need to pay attention to when choosing an electrolysis specialist to DO NOT HAVE BAD RESULTS:
🔹 Sterility — needles, probes, threads — it doesn’t matter what the technician uses; what matters is that everything is in individual packaging and opened right in front of YOU. Tweezers must go through all stages of sterilization and also be unwrapped in your presence.
🔹 Quality of work — look at your technician’s before/after results. A good specialist has nothing to hide and will show how the skin looks before, during, right after, and a few days after the procedure.
There should be no burning, open wounds, or sticking to clothes, and no bleeding.
🔹 Education and experience — qualifications really matter. Ask your technician to tell you how much time it took per area and to take photos of your progress.
Electrolysis is usually charged per minute/hour, not per treated area, so it’s important to track the results: the hair should gradually become thinner, less frequent, and disappear.
Yes, this is a slow process — don’t expect crazy results from just one session.
🔹 Client care — a good tech will follow up with you 2–3 days after the session to make sure your skin is healing well and you’re following aftercare correctly. They may also offer extra skin care tips tailored to your needs.
