Three young people from Kazakhstan arrived in France in January for a 3-month internship; two of them in livestock farming at the agricultural high school in Ressins, the last one in machinery at the agricultural high school in Castelnaudary.

The first sowing of wheat and barley varieties from LEMAIRE DEFFONTAINES is underway today in eastern Georgia, in the Kakheti grain-growing region. With the help of a local partner , the first truckload of seeds has been imported; French seeds have an important role to play in improving yields. The goal is also to produce quality seeds locally, as yields here are severely impacted by the lack of quality seeds. 🌾

Welcome to Kazakhstan's largest dairy farm 🇰🇿
Here, 2,500 cows are milked three times a day, each producing over 11,700 kg of milk per year. A new 80-place Delaval rotary milking parlor has been in operation for two months and can milk all 2,500 cows in five hours.
All the milk is processed, as are all the male and cull animals; the farm employs over 1,000 people.
50,000 hectares of crops, including 40,000 hectares of cereals and 1,600 hectares of corn silage, provide food for the 10,000 animals.
