About Us

The American Hospital Tbilisi will be a western model hospital of international standard. It must be accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI).

The project site is located in the center of the Capital City, Tbilisi, in the Didube-Chughureti District. The Hospital will be developed on the consolidated space of two former hospitals, 58 D. Uznadze Street, Tbilisi, Georgia (Maternity Hospital #2), and 17 U. Chkheidze Street, Tbilisi, Georgia (Traumatology Hospital).

A Description of the American Hospital Tbilisi (AHT):

AHT is intended to operate in accordance with international standards, reflecting Best Practices in the provision of a leading-edge standard of clinical and customer care. This implies that AHT will initially meet and constantly maintain the accreditation requirements of the Joint Commission International (JCI). Upon its official launch, certainly within two (2) years thereafter, AHT will be the fully-accreditable hospital in Georgia.
