By harmonizing treatment approaches for venous and lymphatic diseases, enhancing access to educational resources, and increasing public awareness, the ultimate objective is to improve patient outcomes worldwide.

🔹,,Silk Vein Road,, is a project of the Georgian Association of Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons (GAAVS) under scientific auspices of v-Winfoundation. The goal of the project is to strengthen and regularize educational and scientific cooperation between European, Asian and African specialists.

🔹First, this collaboration is needed to converge approaches in the management of venous and lymphatic diseases. It is also necessary to increase the access of specialists from different regions to educational resources and, finally, to raise awareness both in non-vascular specialists and in the general population.

🔹The project is conceived as a permanent, cyclical series of educational activities of various types (virtual, attendance, hybrid). The continuity and cyclicity of the project will have a wave character, the peak moments of which will be represented by international events, among which theoretical (symposium, webinar) and practical (workshop) events focused on specific issues will be held.

🔹The importance of the historical "Silk Road" is estimated as "…the route that made the world” and we hope that the “Silk Vein Road” will significantly improve global communication for better understanding of modern approaches in phlebo-lymphology.
