პროექტის განხორციელების შედეგად სამეგრელო-ზემო სვანეთის მოსახლობისთვის გეოგრაფიულად ხელმისაწვდომი გახდა კიბოს სკრინინგის სახელმწიფო პროგრამები.
პროსტატის კიბოს რისკის მართვის პროგრამა: 50 დან 70 წლის ჩათვლით.
ზუგდიდის სკრინინგ ცენტრი აშენდა და აღიჭურვა ჩეხეთის რესპუბლიკის კარიტასის (CCRG) მიერ პროექტის "ზუგდიდში სკრინინგ ცენტრის დაფუძნება და პოპულარიზება" ფარგლებში, ჩეხეთის განვითარების სააგენტოს ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით. პროექტი ხორციელდება ადგილობრივ არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციასთან “ონკოპრევენციის ცენტრი” თანამშრომლობით.
The campaign “CANCER SCREENING AWARENESS CHALLENGE” is initiated by Caritas Czech Republic in Georgia in partnership with Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region local government. Its aim is to raise awareness of the population in region about importance of prevention and timely detection of cancer, national cancer screening programs in Samegrelo-upper Svaneti region which are accessible free of charge at Zugdidi Screening Center.
As a result of this implementation of this project national screening programs are geographically accessible for Samegrelo-upper Svaneti population:
Breast cancer screening program – from 40 to 70 years
Cervical cancer screening program- from 25 to 60 years
Colorectal cancer screening promgam- from 50 to 70 years
Prostate cancer management program- from 50 to 70 years
The Screening Center was constructed and equipped by Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) with the financial support of the Czech Development Agency (CzDA) in the frame of the project “Establishment and Promotion of Cancer Screening Center in Zugdidi”. Project is being implemented in partnership with local NGO “Cancer Prevention Center”.
