🎙️ We’re Looking for a Recording Assistant!
Do you enjoy tech, audio, or just helping your community stay connected?
We’re searching for a voluntary Recording Assistant to help us produce our weekly audio version of the Guernsey Press. Every Thursday evening, we record a scripted roundup of island news for listeners who can no longer read the paper themselves — and it makes a huge difference in keeping people informed and included.
🌟 What you need
Confidence using a computer (no specialist skills needed)
Willingness to learn — full training provided
A friendly, reliable attitude
💡 What you’ll do
Help with the recording process
Support the team in producing the weekly audio news
Play a part in a service that genuinely matters to islanders
If we get enough interest, we may even set up a rota so the commitment is shared.
