I feel so seen 🤣 This happens to me all the time, mostly in my legs after I’ve had a really busy day, and whenever I try to describe it to anyone I get the weirdest looks… Sometimes it’s just nice to know that’s it’s not just you 💁♀️
✨The “my body is randomly vibrating for no reason” symptom no one warned us about…
If you know, you know.
You’re just sitting there… minding your business…
and suddenly your body starts buzzing or vibrating on the inside.
Not painful.
Just weird.
Almost like your phone is on vibrate…except it’s YOUR NERVES doing it.
Sometimes it’s in the legs.
Sometimes the chest.
Sometimes the whole body.
Sometimes it feels like a low hum under your skin that only you can feel.
I mostly feel it in my legs and my head.
And it always makes you stop like… “Is this normal??”
Here’s the wild part:
It’s actually super common in POTS, hEDS, MCAS, dysautonomia, SFN, and chronic illness.
It usually happens when the autonomic nervous system is dysregulated and the sensory nerves become extra reactive so your body sends “false alarm” signals that feel like vibration.
🩵 If this happens to you, you’re not alone. When the autonomic nervous system gets dysregulated, you can feel sensations that other people never experience.
✨And if you want me to talk about more of these “weird but common” symptoms, tell me, I’ve got a whole list ready 🙃
