Are your hair getting premature white?

Possible Causes:-

Vitamin Deficiency:- When your body lacks vitamin B-6, B-12, biotin, vitamin D, or vitamin E, your hair starts turning white much sooner. Apart from this, even nutritional deficiencies affect pigmentation.

Genetics :- If your parents had it, you’re likely to get it too. You can't do much in this case.

Thyroid Disorder :- Thyroid problem causes hormonal changes such as hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism which may cause premature graying. As it controls the metabolism, it influences the colour of your hair too.

An overactive or underactive thyroid can cause your body to produce less melanin that aids in giving pigment to your hair. A 2008 research also showcases a connection between thyroid dysfunction and hair issues.

Prevention By Dietary change.

Eat More Antioxidants :-
Your diet plays an integral part in preventing white hairs. A diet rich in antioxidants can help reduce graying of hair. You can include fresh fruits and vegetables, green tea, olive oil and fish in your diet.

Intake Enough Vitamins :-
Consume food items that consist of vitamins you’re deficient at. You can also include vitamin supplements but only after consulting with your doctor.

What Is the Difference Between Good and Bad Cholesterol?

Cholesterol, a waxy substance that builds in the arteries is not completely harmful, despite its reputation for being bad for you. In fact, some of it can even improve your health when consumed in the right amounts.

There are two types: high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL). As a general rule, HDL is considered “good” cholesterol, while LDL is considered “bad.” This is because HDL carries cholesterol to your liver, where it can be removed from your bloodstream before it builds up in your arteries. LDL, on the other hand, takes cholesterol directly to your arteries. This can result in atherosclerosis, a plaque buildup that can even cause heart attack and stroke.

Triglycerides make up the third component of cholesterol and act as unused calories that are stored as fat in the blood. Eating more calories than you burn can cause triglycerides to build up in the bloodstream, increasing your risk for heart attacks.

An LDL count of 100 or less is considered healthy. Your HDL count should be at least 40 (or 50 if you’re female) or greater. Healthy triglyceride counts are 150 or less. Your “numbers,” or total HDL and LDL cholesterol plus triglycerides, should add up to no more than 200. If your numbers are higher than 200, check with your physician, you may have a higher HDL count, which is not unhealthy.

Maintaining healthy levels of cholesterol is manageable. Medication is key, along with eating a healthy diet with lots of vegetables and getting regular exercise.

WHY is the brown rice consider the healthiest?

The most useful is considered to be brown rice. This kind of rice differs from our habitual white one as during the processing the grains are cleaned only from the inedible husk, leaving the bran shell. But this husk contains most of the vitamins and minerals.

Still, in order to get all these vitamins, we have to be patient: brown rice takes twice as long to boil as white rice (40-45 minutes), but it is still pretty hard. Another disadvantage of brown rice is its relatively short shelf life. Brown rice contains essential oils, so it spoils rather quickly. You can extend the "life" of brown rice by storing it in the refrigerator.

WHY is blood type B-negative the rarest?

The fourth positive type is much more common. The fourth group in general is a mystery, because it came from the fusion of two very different types, A and B. It is a young group, and people with it have a flexible immune system.

This group is unique in that it emerged not because of the influence of the external environment, but as a result of mixed marriages. It is worth mentioning that this group is the most biologically complex.

Antigens sometimes make it similar to the second, and sometimes even to the third. Occasionally, it also happens that this rare group is something like a combination of both of these groups.

Thus, the fourth blood group is thought to have appeared later than all the others, about a thousand years ago, as a result of the mixing of Mongoloid and Indo-European.

WHY does the brain consume the most oxygen and calories?

The brain contains up to 60% fat. It is the fattest human organ.

It makes up less than two percent of our body, but consumes about 20-30% of the calories in our food intake. Thus, constant malnutrition has a negative effect on a person's intellectual development.
Also the brain consumes 20% of all the oxygen entering the body.

For normal functioning of the brain, a person must breathe fresh air.

WHY is already exhausted air bringing a person to their senses during artificial respiration?

As we know, if you stay in an airtight room for a long time, you can suffocate, since during breathing the amount of oxygen in the air decreases and the amount of carbon dioxide increases.

However, contrary to popular belief, a person does not exhale pure carbon dioxide but a mixture of gases that contains 16-17% oxygen and about 4% carbon dioxide. (For comparison: atmospheric air, which is 21% oxygen, contains a negligible amount of carbon dioxide - 0.04%.)

This oxygen is enough to bring a person back to life by artificial respiration - from mouth to mouth or from mouth to nose. Such stimulation sometimes takes a long time, up to an hour and a half. INNA REAL LIFE ❤️DEUCES Instagram Facebook

WHY do people blink?

Studies tell us that the average person blinks once every 2 to 10 seconds. We do this automatically as our eyelids protect our eyes from damage. Sometimes we blink intentionally, using what is called "sign language". As an example, we may blink to get attention, inviting another person to flirt. Sometimes we blink to express surprise, as if to say, "I can't believe my eyes!"

In humans, the inner surface of the upper and lower eyelids, as well as the eyes themselves, are lined with a thin, almost transparent membrane, the conjunctiva. The conjunctiva serves to moisten the surface of the eyes, because they need moisture to move properly. During blinking, the eyelid spreads moisture through the conjunctiva and also directs it to the corners of the eye.

WHY is it beneficial to take cold showers?

Cold showers are useful for coping with moodiness and decreasing the level of irritability. The thing is that cold water affects the "blue spot" area in the brain, which produces the hormone noradrenaline, responsible for fighting depression.

Since cold water improves the transport of nutrients to the body and oxygenates the cells, you become more alert. You get less tired and can concentrate on a specific task for longer.

A cold shower in the morning is just what you need to wake up more quickly. It activates the cells and circulation. You feel stronger and more energetic to take on important tasks.

WHY does human skin resist moisture absorption?

The surface of our skin is covered by a very thin layer of fat cells that have water-repellent properties. Subcutaneous fat ensures that fluid loss from the body is reduced.

It prevents us from getting wet and dehydrating.

What is CAR-T cell therapy?

The CAR-T cell therapy is a type of immunotherapy that involves genetically engineering a patient's T cells to attack cancer cells. T cells are a type of white blood cells that help the body fight infection.
In CAR-T cell therapy, T cells are taken from the patient and modified in the laboratory to express a special protein called a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR). It is then reinfused in the patient as this CAR protein helps the T cells recognise and fight the cancer cells.

India's indigenous CAR-T cell therapy

In October 2023, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), India's drug regulator, approved the commercial use of NexCAR19, the first indigenously developed CAR-T cell therapy.

NexCAR19 is developed by ImmunoACT, a company incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Tata Memorial Hospital.
It is designed to treat B-cell cancers, such as leukaemia and lymphoma.
The therapy is now available in over 30 hospitals in more than 10 cities in India. Patients aged above 15, who are suffering from B-cell cancers are eligible for treatment.

Circles under the eyes: causes and treatment

Many people confuse two different concepts: bags and dark circles under the eyes.

Bags arise due to redistribution of fat packets or skin ptosis in the lower eyelid area. Dark circles, on the contrary, are formed due to a deficit of fatty layer in this area.

The appearance of circles under the eyes is usually associated with various factors, including age-related and pathologic factors. With normal anatomy of this area, circles can be caused by the presence of pigment.

In the case of external factors, the problem of dark circles under the eyes can be solved by a qualified cosmetologist.

Causes of constant fatigue

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a condition in which a person constantly feels tired, weak, sleepy throughout the day, exhausted at the slightest effort and never feels fully rested, even after a night's sleep.

One of the main causes of chronic fatigue can be a lack of hormones such as cortisol and progesterone.

Cortisol is responsible for maintaining the lower limit of blood pressure, and a lack of progesterone can also contribute to fatigue.

Also important hormones whose deficiency can lead to chronic fatigue are testosterone, growth hormone and thyroid hormones.

WHY is dieting incompatible with alcohol?

It's not even so much that alcohol increases appetite and lowers self-control, but that the brain, having detected the presence of ethyl alcohol in the blood, stops the metabolism, including the process of turning fat into glucose, and concentrates on removing alcohol and its toxic derivatives from the body as quickly as possible.

Since your body is capable of absorbing no more than 15 to 30 ml of pure alcohol per hour, the process of digesting a can of beer, for example, will stop fat burning for about an hour and a half.
