πŸŽ‰πŸΌ A Heart of Gratitude – Giving Back to Where Life Began πŸ™πŸ½πŸŽ

On the joyful occasion of their baby’s first birthday, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott of Ashaiman returned to St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe β€” the very place their child was born β€” with hearts full of gratitude and hands full of blessings.

As a token of appreciation, the family made a generous donation to the hospital, including:
πŸ«– A 20L Electric Kettle Hot Water Boiler (Commercial Grade)
πŸ’§ Packs of bottled water
πŸ₯€ Packs of soft drinks
🧴 Toiletries and liquid soap
…and more thoughtful essentials to support the care of other patients and families.

Their kindness reminds us of Psalm 116:12:
β€œWhat shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits to me?”

In returning to give thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott have shown what it means to live out the words of 2 Corinthians 9:7:
β€œEach one must give as he has decided in his heart… for God loves a cheerful giver.”

πŸ’– We at St. Andrew Catholic Hospital are truly touched by this act of love and generosity. May the Lord richly bless their child with health, joy, and a bright future.

We also encourage others to emulate this beautiful gesture β€” because giving back, no matter how small, goes a long way in sustaining care for others in our community.

A Heartfelt Visit from WOMEN WITH PURPOSE (WWP) πŸ’œπŸ™

On Saturday, 21st June 2025, we had the joy of welcoming Women With Purpose (WWP) – a vibrant community of Christ-centered women dedicated to purposeful living and spiritual impact.

Their visit was filled with compassion, prayer, and encouragement. The team toured every department, spent time with our staff, and prayed for our patients on admission.

In a deeply touching gesture, WWP donated cash support for underprivileged patients, especially children whose families struggle with hospital bills.

We are truly grateful for their thoughtfulness, time, and generous hearts. Your presence brought hope and warmth to many lives, and we look forward to future partnerships for the well-being of our community.

Thank you, WWP! πŸ’œ

Today, our Antenatal Care (ANC) Clinic hosted another impactful session of the **Pregnancy School**, bringing together expectant mothers for a time of learning, interaction, and empowerment.

The session focused on two critical topics in maternal health:

🦠 HIV in Pregnancy – Delivered by Madam Millicent Okyere of our ART Unit, this session addressed the importance of early testing, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and support systems available for HIV-positive mothers.

πŸ’‰ Anaemia in Pregnancy: Iron-Rich Diets and Vitamin C Foods– Expertly presented by our dedicated midwives Christiane Adjei-Nuamah, Hagar Owusu, and Patience Duah, this segment highlighted the essential role of nutrition in managing and preventing anaemia during pregnancy.
