BLACK HISTORY MONTH: CELEBRATING BLACK GENIUSES — OUR MODERN DAY SONS OF DJEHUTI (THOTH/THOUGHT).
Under the institution of slavery and systemic racism, not only were we not educated about the major scientific contributions and inventions of African-Americans, but we were also not taught that our black—Native—African counterparts actually continued to contribute scientifically thus changing and transforming the world as we know it today. Amongst these Afrakan geniuses, the country of Ghana has produced the overwhelming majority via the 20th-21st century. Most of us have never heard of them and intentionally so, in order to keep our race in darkness .
Some of us in the diaspora have herd of Nigerian scientists such as Philip Emeagwali and Dr. Gabriel Oyibo. However these gentlemen controversial scientific claims and alleged lack of credibility had landed them nowhere and unfortunately debunked their status in the global scientific community. However this is not the case with these Ghanian geniuses of our time. Not only do they have the educational credibility and lacking drama surrounding their names, several of them have humbly landed themselves in the NIHF (National Inventors Hall Of Fame) joining the likes of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla.
In fact, I have catalogued all of them and will be publishing them throughout “black history month” and beyond. First off, below is our heavyweight, Ghanian born Dr. Victor Lawrence, one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th-21st century.
“Lawrence is renowned for his pioneering work in global telecommunications which have paved the way for many developments in broadband, DSL, HDTV technologies and wireless data transfer and helped to spur the growth of the internet worldwide.” In an public interview Dr. Lawrence said:
