On the day, donations from myself, Anita E Asamoah, Obed Effah Esq and Opanin Kwadwo Akosah helped over 300 girls and 200 boys receive health, hand washing and s*x education in 7 schools in 2 villages and 2 rural towns in the AMA Municipal area.
This was done in conjunction with the assistance of the district directors of Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service
The girls were gifted sanitary pads, introduced to and taught the use of menstrual cups. The boys were not exempted. They got small customised tablet soaps. Some women in the communities were not left out. Condoms were also shared.
