🌍 Talking Tipps Africa Foundation – 2025 Reflections & Impact
To God be all the glory, we have come to end of another year.
Talking Tipps Africa remains an international leader and advocate for disability, inclusion and speech therapy access across Africa. As a core partner of the African Speech Dataset Initiative through the Global Disability Inclusion, LLC Hub’s Center for Digital Language Inclusion (CDLI), we played a key role in collecting African language speech data; helping to ensure that future digital tools, AI systems, and assistive technologies recognize and respond to African voices, accents, and languages.
This year also marked the third year of the Read2Baby Campaign. With the generous support of Prof. Celeste Roseberry-McKibbin, Fidelity Bank Ghana, Prof. Eliza Thompson Eliza Thompson and other partners, thousands of child-friendly books were donated to families, nurseries, hospitals, churches, schools, and community groups. This initiative continues to fuel early language development, strengthen caregiver-child interactions and promote literacy from birth.
At the heart of our mission is our continued support to families. Throughout the year, we expanded access to speech therapy services;ensuring that caregivers and children are not left without guidance, hope, or a pathway to communication.
