SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME - DO SHARE TO HELP OTHER MUMS

There is a perception that shaking your baby will make them strong. Some do it to show love, but research has shown that it is rather a traumatic and dangerous experience foe the baby. Shaking and throwing a baby in the air forcefully can cause many problems.

Shaken baby syndrome destroys a child's brain cells and prevents his or her brain from getting enough oxygen. This form of child abuse can cause permanent brain damage or death.23 Feb 2022

Signs and symptoms

🔴Extreme fussiness or irritability

🔴Difficulty staying awake

🔴Breathing problems Iin the baby

🔴Poor eating habit

🔴Vomiting

🔴Pale or bluish skin

🔴Seizures

🔴Paralysis

🔴Coma

Avoid shaking babies vigorously. Send your baby to the hospital for assessment if your baby is forcefully shaken.

We offer professional Optical and medical laboratory services.

Working hours is Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and on Saturdays 8am to 2pm.
