Subject: Prayer, Declaration and Commitment to Unity in Osu Ashante Blohum Quarter

We, the Osu Ashante Blohum Asafo, humbly pray to Almighty God in Heaven and to our revered ancestors for guidance, protection and blessing over our people and our quarter.

We solemnly declare that any traditional leader or any person who attempts to spark confusion, division, or unrest in Osu Ashante Blohum Quarter shall be judged and punished by God and our ancestors. We invoke divine justice to safeguard the peace, unity, and integrity of our community.

As we work diligently to bring unity and togetherness among the divided Asafo, we remain firmly committed to reconciliation, cooperation, and the preservation of our customs and traditions for the betterment of all residents.

As we observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we encourage everyone in the Osu community to stand together in promoting early detection, education, and support. Breast cancer is a reality that touches many lives but with awareness and regular screening it can be detected early and treated successfully. We therefore urge all women and men too to take time to visit a nearby hospital or health centre for a check-up.

‎We respectfully announce the passing of our beloved member Akuertey who also served faithfully as Otseame to Nuumo Kwashie Obaniehi, on the morning of 5th October 2025. This sad loss is deeply felt by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family and Nuumo Kwashie Obaniehi, Osu Agbanfoatse, during this difficult time.
