Relish is a family oriented company and it continues to thrive because of the conscious desire of Ghanaians to look good and live healthy as well as consumer loyalty to the brand that has so much to the improvement of their health and lifestyles. Relish Company Ltd is a local business has its headquarters situated in the Akai House building, Osu Ringway Estates, Accra; as well as a branch in Kumasi that was officially opened in October 2014. Contrary to the assumptions of many, Relish is not a pharmacy but rather a Natural Health foods distribution company. Relish Company Ltd provides its customers with both imported and locally produced health foods such as honey, soap and shea butter for the skin; herbs and fruits in their dried states that are imported from several countries around the world as well as dietary supplements, muscle building supplements, muiltivitaminsand alternative medicine. The company acquires its products from reputable international companies such as Nature’s Way, Now Foods, Enzymatic, LifePlan and Muscle Pham. Although small in size with a base of 50 employees, Relish Company Ltd is a household name. It has thrived for over 20 years in the health foods industry in Ghana and has been the sole distributer of health foods and dietary supplements until the year 2012 when its first and main competitor Herbalife opened a branch in Ghana. Regardless of this, the reputation and consumer base of Relish Company Ltd continues to grow and this has contributed to Relish doing business with retailers coming from as far as Nigeria.
