According to research the building is one of the structures in Dubai that uses the Photo luminescent products. This products have become increasingly popular in areas such as Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and other places around the world because of their ability to reduce electricity consumption and provide light during an emergency even in dark places. Photo luminescent products absorb natural and artificial light and emit light in darkness. They can last up to 15 years outdoors and 30 years indoors; they are used to mark out areas that are critical for evacuation such as stairwells and corridors, to guide occupants to safety in poor lighting conditions.

The stadium is one of the latest buildings to use photoluminescent products to create a safer environment for its patrons.
