Sometimes people pretend you’re a bad person so they don’t feel guilty for how they treated you.
You have to understand that some people never really grow.
They never learn their lesson.
They never recognize their mistakes.
They never acknowledge their faults.
They never admit they were wrong.
You will never receive an apology from them, and you will never see their behavior change.
Keep your distance from people who never admit they are wrong and always try to make you feel like it’s all your fault.
“I owe myself the biggest applogy for putting up with what I didn’t deserve.”
Sometimes you have to close the door and lock people out, not to be mean but to preserve your sanity.
Walk away from people who put you down.
Walk away from fights that will never be resolved.
Walk away from trying to please people who will never see your worth.
The more you walk away from things that poison your soul, the healthier you will be.
