OUR MIGHTY GROOVE Celebrating inspirational AWO family member Vicki Igbokwe-Ozuagu and her incredible squad of creatives

We began this journey back in 2013 with the original 25 minute version and in 2025 we see the celebrated Choreographer & Creative Director of Uchenna Dance Company opening Sadlers Wells East a brand new international dance venue, part of The Mayor London’s , East Bank project.

Today marks one year since our beloved apprentice Derick began his journey with AWO. What an incredible experience it has been!

This past year has been filled with learning, growth, and opportunities that have shaped me both personally and professionally.

I am deeply grateful for the chance to work alongside such a talented and supportive team. Each day has been a lesson, and every task has been a step toward becoming the best version of myself. From managing social media platforms to creating meaningful content, I have discovered new skills and unlocked potential I never knew I had.

The leadership at AWO has been inspiring, and their guidance has been instrumental in my development. The trust they have placed in me has boosted my confidence, and their encouragement has fueled my passion for the work we do.

As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with gratitude for this incredible journey. I look forward to the future with optimism, knowing that this experience has laid a strong foundation for my career.
