"Seven mirrors reflect life's stern face,
Harsh truths to accept, time and space.
1. The greatest among us bear the weight,
Of self-criticism, day and night.
For leaders rise, with hearts aflame,
And small minds shift blame, in endless game.
Confucius spoke, with timeless wisdom true,
"A great man is hard on himself, anew."
1. Seeking validation, we often stray,
And ask the crowd, only to go astray.
For in the noise, wrong choices reside,
And wisdom's voice, is often left inside.
Naval Ravikant warned, with piercing sight,
"If you want wrong, ask everyone in flight."
1. Pleasure and pain, entwined like a vine,
Sensitivity to one, binds us to the other's shrine.
Alan Watts taught, with profound insight deep,
"We can't feel joy, without pain's dark keep."
2. Happiness blooms, from inner soil,
Aristotle's truth, forever unsoiled.
Self-cultivated, like a garden rare,
Joy's roots grow strong, without external care.
3. Anger's fire, consumes and destroys,
Leaving ashes, and regret's bitter joys.
Benjamin Franklin cautioned, with sage advice true,
"Whatever begins in anger, ends in shame anew."
4. Experts guide, but can't transform,
Our health, wealth, wisdom, or peaceful form.
Naval Ravikant's words, cut through the haze,
"Save yourself, take responsibility's gaze."
5. Friendship's facade, often conceals,
Fair-weather companions, who fleeting reveals.
Sahil Bloom's wisdom, shines like a beacon bright,
"Real friends stand, through darkest, powerless night."
NOTE:
Accept these truths, and find your way,
Through life's labyrinth, to a brighter day.
