On Day 2, the Ministry to Persons With Disabilities (MPWDs) of The Church of Pentecost, in partnership with Joni & Friends (USA), continued the empowering outreach in Lomé, Togo, distributing vital assistive devices—such as wheelchairs, white canes, walking sticks, crutches, and mobility walkers—to Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).
This initiative began on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Centre Internationale d’Adoration de Pentecôte (CIAP) in Yokoe, with Day 2 building upon the strong momentum of the previous day. Beneficiaries gathered in hope, receiving much-needed tools for enhanced mobility and independence.
Apostle Lare Banimpo, Executive Council Member and National Head for Togo, expressed heartfelt appreciation to both Joni & Friends and the Church’s Executive Council for enabling this life-changing effort. He affirmed that the benefits extend beyond the church into the broader Togolese community and commended the dedicated team, believing their efforts will be richly blessed by God.
Pastor Alexander Nyame, National Coordinator of MPWDs, echoed this sentiment, thanking Apostle Banimpo for his warm welcome and reiterating the team’s commitment to delivering quality support to every individual in need.
The outreach in Lomé is set to conclude on Day 2 (Tuesday, September 2, 2025), after which the team will journey north to Kara, beginning Wednesday, September 3, and continue through Friday, September 5, to extend this vital support to more PWDs across northern Togo—a campaign grounded in compassion, dignity, and inclusion.
