On 27th March 2026, Ps. Alexander Nyame joined members of the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) Association in the Akim Oda Municipality for a meaningful and impactful engagement session.

A major highlight of the engagement was a presentation delivered by Ps. Alexander Nyame on the theme “The Sovereignty of God.” His message addressed common questions often asked by persons with disabilities, such as: “Why does disability happen?”, “Where is God in our situation?”, and “Does God have a purpose in this?”

Drawing from scriptures such as Genesis 1:27 and Ephesians 2:10, he emphasized that every individual is created in the image of God and is God’s workmanship, with purpose and value.

He further explained the sovereign nature of God, highlighting that God’s will operates through both directive and permissive decrees. Using biblical references including Exodus 4:11 and John 9:3, he reassured participants that disability is not a sign of rejection but can serve as a means through which God’s glory is revealed.

On Thursday, Pastor Alexander Nyame visited the Akim Oda Area of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST to join the climax of the Ministers and Wives Easter Retreat, organized under the leadership of Pastor Samuel and Mrs. Elizabeth Acquaah.
His engagement focused on the mandate of the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs) in Vision 2028, affirming the vital role of PWDs in “Possessing the Nations.” Ministers and their spouses were charged to go and clear attitudinal and physical barriers that turn impairments into disabilities, ensuring that the church becomes a truly inclusive community.

To God be the glory for the successful completion of the Free Prosthetic Hand Fitting Project, which concluded yesterday at the Accra Art Center.

The initiative, organized by the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities and The Hand Project to support persons with upper limb loss, brought renewed hope and transformation to many individuals. Beneficiaries received professional assessments and were fitted with prosthetic hands, to help improve their quality of life.

The outreach formed part of a broader effort to extend assistance across various regions in Ghana, ensuring that persons in need have access to essential support services regardless of location.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and supporters whose dedication and commitment made this impactful initiative possible.
