On 6th December 2025, The Church of Pentecost, Axim Area, organized a special health screening exercise for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) within the Esiama District. This impactful initiative was held as part of the activities to climax this year’s MPWDS Christmas Convention, bringing the celebrations to a meaningful and compassionate close.

The event brought together medical professionals and church leaders who provided free health checks, medical advice, and essential support to participants. The screening covered key areas such as blood pressure, glucose level, general wellness assessments, guidance on healthy living, and eye tests.

The Kade Area of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST experienced a special visitation yesterday, 5th December 2o25, as Pastor Alexander Nyame joined the ongoing Christmas Convention

Also in attendance was the Area Head, Pastor Samson Ansong, and his wife, Mrs. Dora Ansong, together with the entire pastorate and their wives.

Pastor Nyame encouraged the congregation. He emphasized the need for believers to shine as examples in their communities and to carry the message of Christ wherever they go.

Deaconess Professor Augustina Naami, a distinguished member of the National Executive Committee of the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities of The Church of Pentecost, has achieved international recognition after delivering the 2025 Hokenstad International Lecture at the 71st Annual Conference of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in Denver, Colorado, USA.
