As we celebrate it is important you pay attention to your hearing health and listening behavior in this age of industrialization. We live in a noisy environment and it's up to us to make informed decision to protect our ear and hearing. Don't let this day pass without going for ear and hearing assessment at a nearby health facility.

If you are using listening devices, obey the simple 60-60 rule (which means don't listen for more than 60 minutes over the 60% volume mark on the volume ladder)

If you're working in a noisy environment, use ear muffs and plugs to safe guard against loud noise.

If you're a clubber, always utilizer the safe zones in clubs. Safe zones are zones where the noise is at utmost minimum.

If you experience any ear or hearing problems don't self-medicate, report to the nearest health facility for proper diagnosis and care.

We want you to socialize, have fun, communicate with confidence and be yourself this year.
