No, eating is not about filling the tummy! It's about sending the right signals to the body for the production of healthy or diseased tissues and to help our gut microbes flourish or perish. Next time you open your mouth to stuff in something ask your self. What am I telling my body to create?
I love to send healthy messages to my body with stews. Stews are very comforting food loved all over the world. We in Africa love to dip into it with our kenkey or ampesi and enjoy our rice dishes with it. It is excellent food for filling up on proteins, fiber vitamins and minerals. Stews nourishes our cells with the nutrients the body needs to build itself up and stay healthy.

I love to prepare mine with very little coconut, palm or palm kernel oil and infuse it with lots of vegetables, plant proteins or fish and fresh natural spices such as ginger, garlic, Thyme, Cumin, coriander, curry leaf, tumeric, celery etc., etc
