Ms. JANET OGEJI OKERE ADJUDGED THE 1ST RUNNER UP AT THE 6TH GRNMA ANNUAL DINNER AND AWARD NIGHT - 13/12/2025
It was all glamorous as the best nurses/midwives from the 10 administrative regions of the association battled it out for the overall national honours.
With most key players in the nursing and health space gathered at the banquet hall of the prestigious Kempinski hotel, speakers took turns in acknowledging the giant strides that have been made in the nursing space over the past year, whiles also saluting the efforts of nurses and midwives across the country.
Also, gracing the ceremony as the special guest of honour was His royal highness Osagyefo Amoatia Oforipanyin, Paramount Chief of Akyem Abuakwa.
At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Janet Ogeji Okere, a midwife attached to the Shai-Osudoku district hospital and the reigning GAR best nurse/midwife, was adjudged the 1st Runner Up for the overall best national best nurse award.

Chief Supt. Marufatu Essie Briamah award - Ms. Theresah Sarfo-Bonsu (Ghana police hospital)
Mrs. Ruth Aku Gyan rural service award - Ms. Irene Sapomah Obeng
Another achievement chalked was our guesthouse being adjudged the 2nd runner up in the 2025 GRNMA best guesthouse awards.
The leadership of the GAR-GRNMA celebrates all our award winners. We are truly proud of them all, and we know that in the near future the ultimate crown will be for one of our dedicated GAR members.
