Meet Noelle Ofori, our recent intern from St. Mary's Calne, UK. We were delighted to host Noelle at the West African Genetic Medicine Centre, where she spent some time interning at the WAGMC Core lab under the supervision of the WAGMC Core Lab manager, Dr. William Kudzi and research assistant Joseph Domaka. During her time at WAGMC, she also interned at the Sickle Cell Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Amma Benneh-Akwasi Kuma, Director of the Ghana Institute of Clinical Genetics (GICG) and Senior Lecturer at UG, and at the School of Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Elsie Kaufmann, the Dean of the School of Engineering, UG.

We are grateful for the departments and units that mentored Noelle during her time with us in August. We wish her the best as she awaits her university placement and looks forward to a bright future in genetic medicine. Let's hear what she had to say about her internship journey in the video!
