Safehouse Initiative
was founded in 2015 by Fire safety educator/researcher Mr Peter Yaw Ettey to deliver safe, effective fire & general safety education to children and adults of all ages. When it comes to safety, everyone involved has an interest. To date, we have, in our own small way, sensitized a large number of children & adults in fire safety and emergency preparedness. They strike us at work, at home, on the farm, in the car, at playgrounds, and often when we least expect them. Our corporate mission is to provide men, women, and children with the skills & First Aid training, to properly deal with emergency situations. Our certified safety experts, health workers, and individual educators are ready to actively participate in numerous upcoming events and volunteer hundreds of hours to promote safety. Our main objective is to educate the public about health and safety in general so that they can tackle avoidable disasters and know what to do in the event of an unforeseen occurrence. We strongly believe that the role as protectors of life and property is not reserved for only safety and security personnel but a shared responsibility of every citizen? Safehouse Initiative is a registered non-profit organization that depends on:
• Sponsorships
• Grants from external donors
• Accretions and other legal forms of acquisitions.
• Other sources of legitimate funding, individual gifts, and proceeds from various events for its operations. There is much to do yet the hands are few. Let us call on others to join hands with us to serve and save lives.
