Product Spotlight: Hysen Biotech G6PD Test Kit
The Hysen Biotech G6PD Test Kit is a qualitative diagnostic tool used for the detection of normal or deficient glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) enzyme activity in whole blood samples. It is designed for in vitro clinical auxiliary diagnosis of G6PD deficiency, a genetic condition that can lead to hemolytic anemia under certain stressors.
Key Features
• Fast: Delivers accurate results within 10–15 minutes
• Easy: Straightforward procedure minimizes risk of errors
• Accurate: High sensitivity and specificity for reliable detection
• Cost-Effective: Affordable testing without compromising quality
Test Procedure
Reagent Preparation: Open an aluminum foil pouch and retrieve one card and one tube containing two reagent pads.
Add Buffer: Add 8 drops (approx. 300ul) of buffer into the tube. (Note: Pads are insoluble.)
Add Sample: Mix blood sample thoroughly and add 10μl into the tube. Mix well and start timing. (Ensure both pads are soaked.)
Incubate: Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.
Apply Mixture to Card: Take one test card and drop the full mixture into the sample well. Allow about 1 minute for it to permeate.
Stabilize Result: Add 2 additional drops of buffer to the well to stabilize the colored spot.
Read Results: Read the result within 10 minutes.
