ABOUT CROSS-POINT

Cross-Point Hospice Care Centre, Ghana is an inpatient rehabilitation facility that focuses on getting stroke sufferers to regain their normalcy through a coordinated effort and patient management approach by a team of professionals in collaboration with the patient, family and caregivers. At Cross-Point, we encourage patients and their caregivers to undergo a structured education program aimed at helping them learn ways of using wheelchairs, walkers and canes to regain their gait. Patients undergo an intense mobility task training to relearn tasks such as climbing stairs, individually tailored exercise programs, speech therapy, balance training, and eye exercises, doing basic household chores, writing and office functions. Cross-Point also provides an enriched environment with computers, books, music and virtual reality games to increase patient engagement.

At Cross-Point, we work with the patient and family towards full recovery and re-bouncing into a life of dignity.
